IMO launches evacuation plan for 11,000 seafarers stranded in the Gulf
The International Maritime Organization said it will begin carrying out an evacuation plan for about 11,000 seafarers stranded in the Gulf for nearly four months after commercial transits through the Strait of Hormuz ground to a halt.
