ANKARA

The 2014 Australian Open winner in men’s, Stanislas Wawrinka from Switzerland hardly beat Italy’s Andreas Seppi 3-2 on Thursday to advance to the third round.

Ranked 85th in the world standings, Seppi won the first set 6-4 at Margaret Court Arena.

But Wawrinka came from the 1-0 deficit against him, winning the second and third sets by 7-5 and 6-3 respectively.

Seppi managed to cling on the game as the Italian player won the fourth set 6-3 to make the score 2-2.

So the fifth set had to decide the winner of the game, which lasted for 3 hours
