ANKARA
Turkiye’s benchmark stock index posted gains at weekly close, rising 0.61% to 2,051.05 points on Friday.
Starting the day at 2,023.04 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index rose 12.38 points from Tuesday’s close of 2,038.67 points.
On a weekly basis, the benchmark index posted an increase of 5.5% this week.
One ounce of gold traded for $1,831.50 by market close, down from $1,842.80 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
Price of Brent crude oil was around $92.55 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT) on Friday – with a day range of $90.53 to $92.74.
