Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,399.65 points on Monday, up 0.48% from the previous close.
After starting the day at 1,397.98 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index gained 6.74 points from Friday’s close of 1,392.91 points.
One ounce of gold was traded for $1,808.80 by market close, down from $1,827.70 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $72.83 per barrel as of 6.09 p.m. local time (1509GMT).
