By ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed the midweek at 100,159.13 points on Wednesday, up 0.55% from the previous close.
Started the day at 99,649.07, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index rose 543.25 points as of daily close from Tuesday’s close of 99,615.88 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,658.00 by market close, down from $1,796.50 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $29.50 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Wednesday.
