Turkey’s benchmark stock index went up 0.33%, or 373.41 points, to start Monday at 114,057.03 points.

On Friday’s close, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index rose 0.03% to 113,683.61 points with a daily trading volume of 8.6 billion Turkish liras ($1.4 billion).

The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate decreased to 5.9490 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Monday, from 5.9580 at Friday’s close.

The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also increased to 6.6610, from 6.6460, and one British pound traded for 7.8150 Turkish liras, while it was 7.8140 at the previous close.
