ANKARA
Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended Thursday at 121,000.85 points, up 0.05% from previous close.
Starting the day at 121,377.89 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index gained 62.07 points from the midweek close at 121,804.10 points.
During Thursday’s trading, the BIST 100 hovered between 120,763.09 points and 122.482.43 points, the highest level of all times, — 35 stocks on the index rose, 61 fell and four were flat compared to the previous close.
Closing the day with a market value of nearly 829.2 billion Turkish liras ($141 billion), the benchmark index posted a daily trading volume of 16.8 billion Turkish
