Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed the day at 118,663.70 points on Friday, up 0.57% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index started the day at 118,250.70 points. As of the daily close, it lost 673.25 points from Thursday’s close of 117,990.45 points.
On a weekly basis, the benchmark index posted a 4% increase this week. At the beginning of this year, the BIST 100 stood around 89,000 points.
