Turkey’s benchmark stock index slipped 0.09% from its previous to close Wednesday at 119,689.48 points.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index started the day at 120,585.88 points. As of daily close, it lost 112.16 points from Tuesday’s close of 119,801.63 points.
During Wednesday’s trading, the index’s hovered between 119,505.76 points and 120,740.70 points.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 826 billion Turkish liras ($139.3 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 10.9 billion Turkish liras ($1.8 billion).
