ANKARA

Turkey’s foreign ministry spokesperson and his Iranian counterpart held on Wednesday a consultation meeting vis-à-vis information sharing between the two countries, sources said.

During the meeting held via video link, Hami Aksoy and Sayed Abbas Mousavi underlined that friendly bilateral relations must be projected in the field of media, according to diplomatic sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

Within this framework, Aksoy and Mousavi discussed mechanisms to increase press cooperation, and synergy to ensure regular cooperation.

The diplomats also talked about ways to highlight positive developments in the two countries, agreeing to hold regular meetings on the subject.
