ANKARA
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Chadian counterpart discussed Tuesday ways to improve ties over the phone, according to Turkey’s Communications Directorate.
Erdogan told Idriss Deby Itno that Turkey wants to deepen cooperation in every field and it attaches great importance to improving trade and economic ties, the directorate said in a statement.
The two leaders also exchanged views on the upcoming elections for the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
