ISTANBUL

Turkey's top diplomat is set to pay a two-day official visit to Italy on Thursday to attend the 5th edition of the Mediterranean Dialogues (MED) conference and to hold bilateral talks.

Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will deliver a speech on "Turkey's Vision and Strategy on the Issues Related to Mediterranean and the Ways to Foster a Positive Agenda in the Region," during the conference in Rome, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

Cavusoglu will also hold meetings with his counterparts from participating countries as well as representatives of international organizations.
