Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up at midweek's close

Turkey's benchmark stock index was up 0.34% to close Wednesday at 1,325.47 points.

Starting the day at 1,330.07 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 4.49 points over Tuesday's close of 1,320.98 points.

The price of one ounce of gold was $1,808.35 by market close, down from $1,812 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $48.2 per barrel as of 6.20 p.m. local time (1520GMT) on Wednesday.
