Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed the midweek at 109,111.34 points on Wednesday, up 0.94% from the previous close.
Starting the day at 108,926.19 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index rose 1,014.07 points as of daily close from Tuesday’s close of 108,097.27 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,709.50 by market close, down from $1,742.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $39.47 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Wednesday.
