Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed the day at 107,528.68 points on Tuesday, up 0.64% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index started the day at 107,196.64 points. As of the daily close, it rose over 680 points from Monday’s close of 106,846.18 points.
During Tuesday’s trading, the index hovered between 106,633.71 points and 107,769.77 points.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 730 billion Turkish liras ($127 billion) by market close, and the daily trading volume was 9.9 billion Turkish liras ($1.7 billion).
