Turkey’s benchmark stock index increased 1.38% to 116,907.77 points in the closing session of Thursday.
After starting the day at 115,843.62 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index earned 1,592.79 points from Wednesday’s close of 115,314.98 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,772.85 by market close, down from $1,777.90 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $42.20 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Thursday.
