Turkey's Borsa Istanbul up 0.52% at Friday's close

ANKARA

Turkey’s benchmark stock index ended the day up 0.52% to close at 111,176.75 points on Friday.

Starting the day at 111,040.82 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index went 577.32 points from 110,599.43 points at Thursday’s close.

During the last day of trading, the BIST 100 hovered between 111,040.82 points and 111,636.33 points — 74 stocks on the index rose, 16 fell, and the remaining were flat compared to the previous close.

Closing the day with a market value of nearly 759 billion Turkish liras ($128 billion), the benchmark index posted a daily trading volume of 10.2 billion Turkish liras ($1.72 billion).
