Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed the day at 112,876.05 points on Wednesday, up 0.25% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index started the day at 1,639.11 points. As of the daily close, it earned 276.13 points from Tuesday’s close of 112,599.92 points.
During Wednesday’s trading, the index’s hovered between 110,745.62 points and 112,876.53 points.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 773 billion Turkish liras ($129 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 12 billion Turkish liras ($2 billion).
