ANKARA
Turkey’s benchmark stock index slightly rose by 77.58 points, to start Wednesday at 104,049.94 points.
On Tuesday, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index close the day at 103,972.36 points with a daily trading volume of 9.8 billion Turkish liras ($1.7 billion).
The U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood stable at 5.7740 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT) on Wednesday, compared to 5.7740 at Tuesday’s close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate marginally went down to 6.3610, versus 6.3650, and one British pound traded for 7.4330 Turkish liras, while it was 7.4320 at the previous close.
