Turkey’s benchmark stock index dropped 0.15% to 1,143.51 points at the close on Thursday.
After starting the day at 1,150.07 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index decreased 1.73 points from Wednesday’s close of 1,145.24 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,899.80 by market close, up from $1,883.75 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $40.05 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT) on Thursday.
