Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed the day at 105,382.42 points on Monday, down 1.13% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index started the day at 107,193.15 points. As of the daily close, it lost 1,205.99 points from the last week’s close of 106,588.41 points.
During Monday’s trading, the index hovered between 105,222.12 points and 107,845.98 points.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 716 billion Turkish liras ($125.8 billion) by market close, and the daily trading volume was 10.5 billion Turkish liras (some $1.84 billion).
