Turkey's Borsa Istanbul down 1.35% at Tuesday's close

Turkey’s benchmark stock index closed at 1,454.74 points on Tuesday, down 1.35% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 1,474.09 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index lost 19.98 points from Monday’s close of 1,474.72 points.

One ounce of gold traded for $1,810.85 by market close, down from $1,823.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

With a 0.6% decline, the price of Brent crude oil was around $71.79 per barrel as of 6:40 p.m. local time (1540GMT).
