ANKARA
Turkey extended its condolence to Mexico on Wednesday over a deadly flood in the country’s Chiapas and Tabasco states.
“We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives and material damage caused by flood disaster occurred due to the heavy rainfalls in Mexico’s states of Chiapas and Tabasco,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“We convey our sympathies to the friendly Mexican government and people as well as our condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives and wish a quick recovery to the injured,” the statement added.
