Turkey’s car and light commercial vehicle sales jumped by 61.3% year-on-year in 2020, an industry group said on Wednesday.
According to the Automotive Distributors’ Association (ODD), 772,788 automobiles were sold last year.
On a yearly basis, passenger car sales surged 57.6% in the same period to reach 610,109 units.
The report showed that almost 162,679 light commercial vehicles were sold in the year, up 77.2% from 2019.
In December 2020, the market also rose by 15.2%, posting 104.293 sales.
