MUGLA, Turkey
Ukraine’s Consul in Antalya Emir Rustamov visited Mugla Mayor Osman Gurun on Thursday to discuss prospects of cooperation between the two nations.
Rustamov stressed improvement in cooperation would boost tourism potential and said the southern resort provinces of Antalya and Mugla constitute a first and second choice, respectively, of Ukrainian tourists in Turkey.
He noted the particularly strong historical, cultural, and tourist ties between Ukraine and Turkey and remarked that regional cooperation can be developed further.
Gurun thanked Rustamov for his visit and agreed on the need for further improvement of ties.
