ANKARA
Those who trust Turkish Lira assets and invest in them since August 2018 have won, Turkey’s treasury and finance minister said Friday.
“Long-term government debt securities investor received the highest gain with 101.5%,” Berat Albayrak said on Twitter, adding: “Investors gained 33.3% in Turkish stock exchange market BIST 100 index.”
Albayrak stressed that those who invest in foreign exchange and speculative expectations missed a significant income.
