Turkish customs officers on Thursday seized over 1,900 liters of sulfuric acid, an industrial chemical prohibited to export, in a truck in southeastern Turkey.
When the truck heading to Syria arrived in the customs area in the Kilis province, officials in a search over suspicion found 1,990 liters of sulfuric acid inside the vehicle.
The investigation into the incident is underway.
