ANKARA

Italian top-tier Serie A club Roma prolonged their Serbian left back Aleksandar Kolarov’s contract on Tuesday.

“Aleksandar Kolarov has signed a contract extension with the Giallorossi that runs until 2021!,” Roma said on Twitter.

Kolarov said that he was very happy to stay at the club.

“I want to keep improving – physically, technically, my shooting … everything. At my age fitness is key, and I feel good. I’m convinced I can still improve a bit every day,” the 34-year-old defender added.

Kolarov joined Roma in July 2017.
