ANKARA
French football club Saint-Etienne on Monday acquired French midfielder Adil Aouchiche.
“The young midfielder on Monday signed a three-year contract with AS Saint-Etienne,” Les Verts (the Greens) said on their website, welcoming 18-year-old Aouchiche.
Aouchiche was freed by Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in July as his deal at the defending French champions ran out.
With Algerian roots, Aouchiche was a pure PSG product, including playing for its youth branches.
Aouchiche has played separately for the French U-18 national team.
Last season he scored one goal in three appearances for PSG’s senior team.
