A coach of the Russian national wheelchair curling team praised Turkey’s eastern Erzurum province for having the potential to host big organizations with high standard facilities.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency on Thursday, Anton Batugin, a coach of the Russian national wheelchair curling team, said that Erzurum is set to host one of the world’s largest organizations.
He said that they were thrilled to be in Erzurum as they could not compete in the international tournament for a long time due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Batugin added that they appreciated the curling venues as well as other sports facilities in Erzurum.
According to Batugin, the hotels in the city are also at a very good standard for disabled people.
“We want to back in Erzurum to do training camp again. We are planning to do a training camp at least once or twice a year in Erzurum. Erzurum is the city ready to host the biggest organizations in the world. The facilities are very good. I hope the official organizations would be held here and we can participate in them,” he said.
