BOLU, Turkey

Police on Friday seized 121 kilograms (267 pounds) drugs in a policeman’s personal car in the Black Sea province of Bolu.

The drugs were seized after anti-narcotic police teams stopped the vehicle during road controls on Anadolu Highway.

The vehicle was taken to a police car park and searched with a sniffer dog. The drugs were found in the car’s trunk and the policeman — identified as Bayram A. — who was driving the car, was arrested.

The suspect was remanded in custody after being produced in a court.
