The head of Libya’s UN-recognized Government of National Accord (GNA) arrived in Algeria on Monday for talks on the Libyan crisis. 

Fayez al-Sarraj met Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to discuss the situation in Libya.

The Algerian Presidency said in an earlier statement that the meeting “allows the opportunity to exchange views about the situation in Libya and ways to overcome it.”

Libyan foreign and interior ministers Taher Siala and Fathi Bashagha, had arrived in Algeria earlier in the day. 

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu is also set to visit Algeria on Monday for talks on Turkish-Algerian bilateral relations and to exchange views on regional
