Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson will miss the entire 2020-2021 season because of a torn right Achilles tendon, ESPN announced on Thursday.
The right leg injury occurred during a workout Wednesday in Southern California, the team announced, according to ESPN.
He underwent an MRI on Thursday morning.
The 30-year old player had missed the last season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee in 2019 NBA Finals over the Toronto Raptors.
