American tennis player Sofia Kenin qualified for the 2020 Australian Open final, beating top seed Ashleigh Barty in Thursday’s women’s singles semifinals.

Seeded 14th, Kenin, 21, eliminated Barty from Australia with the sets 7-6, 7-5 in Melbourne.

With this win, Kenin reached her first grand slam final.

She will face either Romania’s Simona Halep or Garbine Muguruza of Spain in Saturday’s final.
