Palestinian health authorities confirmed 110 new infections from the coronavirus pandemic in the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
In a statement, the Health Ministry said the territory’s tally rose to 807 cases, including five deaths, and 89 recoveries.
“The number of active cases in Gaza rose to 713,” the ministry said.
The Hamas-led government has imposed a lockdown in Gaza since Aug. 24 to stem the spread of the virus in the blockaded enclave.
