ANKARA
The French football club Nantes on Wednesday said that five people tested positive for COVID-19.
Nantes said in a statement that club professionals including players and employees were tested on Tuesday as the results showed that five people contracted the new coronavirus.
The club did not reveal the names of positive cases.
It added that they are now in their homes each for isolation.
Meanwhile Nantes canceled Saturday’s friendly match against Belgium’s Charleroi over health concerns.
