Rangers manager Steven Gerrard on Friday agreed on a two-year extension with the Scottish football club until 2024. 

Liverpool legend Gerrard, 39, joined Rangers in the summer of 2018 for his first managerial post.

“From the moment I met Steven, I could tell that he was the right man to help us to drive this club forward on the pitch. He has an elite mentality and that is exactly what I was looking for,” Rangers Chairman Dave King said in a statement post on the club’s website.
