ANKARA

Borussia Monchengladbach defeated Bayern Munich 2-1 on Saturday to continue leading Germany’s top football league Bundesliga.

The goals of the match all came in the second half. Despite falling down 1-0 in the 49th minute by a goal from Bayern Munich’s Croatian winger Ivan Perisic, leaders Monchengladbach managed to turn the match around.

Perisic controlled the ball inside the penalty box and shot the ball to the top left, beating Gladbach keeper Yann Sommer.

Gladbach found the equalizer in the 60th minute after a corner kick, when left back Ramy Bensebaini’s header beat Manuel Neuer.
