Spanish midfielder Dani Parejo moved to Villarreal, the club confirmed on Wednesday.

“Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Valencia CF for footballer Dani Parejo, who will wear the yellow shirt for the next four seasons,” Villarreal said on its website.

“The time and date presentation of the midfielder from Madrid as a new Villarreal player will be revealed in the next few days,” it added.

Parejo, 31, spent nine seasons in Valencia and scored 63 goals in 383 appearances for Murcielagos FC (the Bats).

He also played for La Liga giants Real Madrid and English Premier League side Queens Park Rangers.

Villarreal completed the 2019-20 season on the fifth spot with 60 points.
