ANKARA

Turkish football giant Fenerbahce are gearing up for matches in line with coronavirus-related measures.

“@ulkerstadyumu is preparing for the matches we will play. We take our precautions against coronavirus,” Fenerbahce said on Twitter.

In line with measures announced by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), two seats will be left empty on each bench.

Social distancing will be observed in the protocol tribune with three seats left empty.

Also, special care will be taken to maintain good hygiene with arrangements for hand washing.

In March, the coronavirus pandemic forced Turkey to suspend nationwide competitions.

The TFF announced in late May that the top-tier Super Lig games will resume on June 12.

In the opening game of league, Fenerbahce will take on HK Kayserispor on Friday.

Having 40 points, Yellow Canaries are in the seventh spot.
