Explosion reported near Baghdad airport

BAGHDAD, Iraq

An explosion took place near the Baghdad International Airport on Saturday, according to an Iraqi police officer.

The blast was caused by a mortar shell fired by an unidentified group, officer Ahmad Khalaf told Anadolu Agency.

No casualties or damage were reported.
