ANKARA
European exchanges closed the final transaction day of the week in positive territory Friday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 3.11 points, or 0.73%, to finish at 431.10.
The UK’s FTSE 100 index was the best performer, soaring 87 points, or 1.2%, to end at 7,390.
Germany’s DAX 30 gained almost 100 points, or 0.72%, to 13,982, while France’s CAC 40 rose 12 points, or 0.2%, to 6,285.
Italy’s FTSE MIB increased almost 30 points, or 0.12%, to 24,095.
Spain’s IBEX 35 added 78 points, or 0.93%, to close at 8,484.
