Major indices in the European stock market closed mixed on Thursday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell almost 1 point, or 0.21%, to close at 472.35.
France’s CAC 40 decreased 29 points, or 0.41%, to end the day at 7,101 points.
London’s FTSE 100, meanwhile, gained almost 29 points, or 0.38%, to end the day at 7,672. Germany’s DAX 30 climbed 8 points, or 0.05%, to finish at 15,490.
Italy’s FTSE MIB increased 61 points, or 0.23%, to end at 27,190 points.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day rising 39 points, or 0.45%, to finish at 8,886.
