EuroLeague to decide basketball contests' fate in May

ANKARA 

Turkish Airlines EuroLeague announced Thursday that May 24 will be deadline to decide if to play or cancel the season.

Teams agreed to a draft proposal for a calendar for the season that has players in quarantine from May 29 - June 11, if necessary.

Training camp would go from June 12 - July 2 and EuroCup games in the central venues would start July 4 and end July 17.

EuroLeague central venues games would last July 4 - July 26.

Competition was suspended March 12 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
