NUR SULTAN, Kazakhstan 

Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Georgia, and Uzbekistan reported a spike in cases.


The Health Ministry of Ukraine announced 492 more people caught the virus, raising the tally to 8,617 nationwide.

The death toll in the country has risen to 209, while 840 patients have recovered so far.


The Health Ministry in Kazakhstan said that in the country, where 25 people died due to COVID-19, the number of cases rose by 96, reaching 2,660.

Also, 677 people have recovered, while 1,981 people are currently under treatment.
