BELGRADE, Serbia
An aircraft carrying medical aid from the EU arrived in Serbia’s capital Belgrade on Saturday.
The aircraft, carrying 800,000 protective masks and other medical equipment for healthcare facilities, touched down at the Nikola Tesla Airport.
Brussels funded both the procurement of the equipment, as well as its transportation to Serbia, according to the Serbian Ministry of European Integration.
The delivery was made as part of the EU’s overall assistance to Serbia in the fight against the pandemic.
