Duplantis sets new pole vault outdoor world record

ANKARA

Sweden's Armand Duplantis set a new outdoor pole vault world record at the Diamond League meeting in Rome on Thursday.

The 20-year-old athlete cleared 6.15m to make a history at the Olympic Stadium.

Duplantis broke the record of Ukrainian Sergey Bubka who jumped 6.14m in 1994 in Italy.
