ISTANBUL, JERUSALEM
Health authorities in Palestine, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Jordan announced more coronavirus cases, deaths, and recoveries on Wednesday as confirmed over the last 24 hours.
Palestine
As many as 2,110 people tested positive for COVID-19 in Palestine, bringing the total to 143,718.
Some 31 new virus-linked deaths pushed the tally to 1,347, while the number of people who recovered from the disease rose to 117,647.
Iraq
In Iraq, a total of 12 people died in the past 24 hours, pushing the nationwide fatality count to 12,737.
With 1,173 new infections, the overall caseload rose to 587,676, including 525,792 recoveries.
Saudi Arabia
Nine more deaths and 177 new cases were recorded in Saudi Arabia, bringing the count to 361,536 infections, 6,148 deaths, and 352,418 recoveries.
Jordan
In Jordan, 25 people died while another 2,091 got infected, pushing the total to 281,983 cases and 3,652 deaths.
As many as 2,902 patients also regained health, bringing the total recoveries to 252,158.
