ANKARA
Juventus winger Juan Cuadrado has contracted the novel coronavirus, the Italian football club said Tuesday.
“Juan Cuadrado has emerged positive with Covid-19. The player has already been placed in solitary confinement and is asymptomatic,” the team said in a statement.
The 32-year-old Colombian will miss a match Wednesday against AC Milan at San Siro Stadium, Milan.
AC Milan are leading Italian Serie A with 37 points. Juventus in the number five spot with 27 points.
Cuadrado has played for Juventus since 2017.
