The number of the coronavirus cases in Russia rose to 840 with 182 confirmed diagnosis over the last 24 hours, authorities said Thursday.

Overall, two people, both in Moscow, have died while 38 recovered, according to the latest figures on the official online portal for COVID-19 information.

Moscow also takes the lead in the number of cases as more than half of all the virus patients reside in the capital.

Similarly, 136 of 182 new infections were reported here.
